In the framework of the EuroGEO e-shape's  renewable energy showcase, the NOA in collaboration with Indian technological institutes and a renewable energy constructor published a paper dealing with a roof-top photovoltaic energy production management exploiting Earth Observation data and technologies.

The proposed methodology is able to support the penetration of renewables in smart cities by providing solar potential simulations at urban environment and realistic energy production estimations.
