Co-design process: a user-centric go-to-market strategy

Athens co-design workshop takes place virtually 1st of July!

Co-design is used as a toolbox to support the development of the 27 e-shape services in a user-centric approach.

Within the Health Surveillance Showcase, the National Observatory of Athens serves as the lead for Pilot 3, “EO-based pollution-health risks profiling in the urban environment,” or the Health Surveillance Air Quality Pilot (HSAQ).

The HSAQ Pilot aims to enhance urban resilience through timely and informed decision-making with respect to air quality and its relevance to health and urban planning by creating a service combining EO platforms and air quality, health, socioeconomic and other data with an emphasis on co-designing a service with competent stakeholders and potential end-users.

Building on top of the global layer, the Athens case will add city-scale air quality modeling data and local health, land use and socioeconomic data layers, providing a view of the situation at the municipality level.
