Our partners from ARMINES Lionel Menard and Philippe Blanc participated in the Copernicus Atmosphere Monitoring Service (CAMS) virtual workshop held on 25th of March 2021.
Our e-shape pilots [Pilot 3.2 | High photovoltaic penetration at urban scale] made a presentation on "Leveraging CAMS Services by deploying applications in WEkEO: The e-shape pilot"
The Copernicus Atmosphere Monitoring Service (CAMS), in collaboration with the Norwegian Space Agency and the Norwegian Environment Agency, planned a workshop for users of CAMS (and C3S) products in Norway on the afternoons of 24 and 25 March 2021 – held back-to-back with the Norwegian national user forum for Copernicus.
This workshop was organised in two sessions. It discussed the plans for the new CAMS carbon dioxide service and initiated an exchange of ideas for a roadmap on how Norway may contribute to this service and use it. Furthermore, the workshop allowed a discussion on Copernicus data connectivity, presenting plans for the Copernicus knowledge hubs.
The CAMS user workshops were an opportunity to learn from the experience of existing CAMS users, meet members of the CAMS team, become acquainted with CAMS-relevant activities in your country, and interact with other users of CAMS products. CAMS data are already being used by scientists and academics, policymakers and local planners, as well as business and industry throughout Europe and even worldwide.
The e-shape project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement 820852
