During the COVID-19 lockdown period, atmospheric pollution dramatically reduced in most parts of the world, becoming particularly evident over cities and industrial agglomerations. This observation has been enabled by Copernicus!

When the lockdown comes to an end, pollution levels will gradually reach exactly (if not more) the levels prior to measures. This projection is driven by human nature! The outcomes of this uncontrolled experiment should be seriously taken into account in designing new sustainable ways of living and development, for the sake of Mother Earth's health.
